What changes the design work involved
Page count doesn't tell the whole story. A group of service pages can share one layout. A project showcase, detailed product page and interactive tool each need different design work. We agree the pages and their requirements together.
The content and images shape the layout. We write the agreed pages from your information. We also work out which existing assets suit the design and whether new photography, video or animation needs to be included in the scope.
Selling online needs a separate plan. Product browsing, checkout and store operations add requirements beyond a marketing site. Commerce is scoped separately; AI Enhanced is for simpler sites without advanced integrations or customer flows.

We write the agreed pages and develop the design. For a Custom Website, you review the homepage first, then the remaining pages. AI Enhanced presents the complete design together. We refine the design before development.

Build and review
SOL develops the approved design in code. You review the working site on a private staging link, and we check the design across screen sizes alongside performance, technical search readiness and the agreed functionality. Ongoing SEO strategy and content are scoped separately.

Launch and hand over
After final checks, your approval and final payment, we launch the site. We complete the agreed handover and confirm the arrangements for hosting, maintenance and future updates.
The design has to work on a phone
A wide project image, a long heading and a row of cards behave differently on a small screen. We plan how content stacks, where navigation goes and how people reach the next action.
Those decisions carry into development. We check the working site for readable text, usable menus and forms, and images that still show the important detail. You see the website in use before approving it for launch.
